Eastern Pondhawk Dragonfly

This Eastern Pondhawk Dragonfly was spotted along the nature trail. Eastern Pondhawks practice sexual dimorphism. Dimorphism means “two forms;” sexually dimorphic males and females may exhibit different sizes, colors, decorations, and/or behaviors.
