CHARLOTTE, N.C. -
Duke Energy today issued the following statement regarding federal court approval of an agreement with the U.S. government to close a federal investigation of its subsidiaries – Duke Energy Carolinas, Duke Energy Progress and Duke Energy Business Services – related to the Dan River coal ash spill and ash basin operations at other North Carolina coal plants.
