Bald eagles in and around the park are sitting on nests with eaglets expected very soon. This eagle has a great view toward Stoney Indian Peaks. Eagle nests should not be approached this time of year as the birds are easily disturbed. A long lens or spotting scope is your best bet for a closer view. (mw)
