Bluestar Flowers

From the Great River and Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuges:

The nectar of the Bluestar flowers attracts the Ruby-Throated Hummingbird and various long-tongued insects, including Large Carpenter Bees, Hummingbird Moths, and various butterflies. It prefers full sun to light shade and moist soil and is in bloom on the refuge in several places.
