Trumpeter swans

From USFWS National Wildlife Refuge System:

Trumpeter swans. Red Rock Lakes Refuge, MT, may be one of the only places in the world where the calls of trumpeter swans ring out almost all year long. More than 500 trumpeters live in the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem, joined by another 4,000 swans from Canada each winter. They can have a wingspan up to 10 feet. Read about featured refuges on our birding pages here fws.gov/refuges/birding/birdingonRefuges.html And a photo gallery of swans here http://1.usa.gov/1FfFraF This is a USFWS photo.
