Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge

It's official! Completion of Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico, the first urban refuge in the southwest! http://on.doi.gov/1lIpWsI

U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary Sally Jewell on Friday announced that a diverse group of federal, state and local government partners and conservation groups, supported by the Land and Water Conservation Fund, have made it possible to acquire the lands needed to complete the 570-acre refuge. Congratulations!
