Bull Moose

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Facebook Post:

A bull moose wading in the water at Seedskadee and Cokeville Meadows National Wildlife Refuges in Wyoming. This bull still has growing antlers in velvet and it will be weeks before they become the hardened antlers seen in the fall.

A solitary animal, moose usually are seen alone or with young in the riparian area or wetlands along the Green River within the Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge:http://1.usa.gov/1rabxe5.
