From USFWS National Wildlife Refuge System:
By December, whooping crane migration to Aransas National Wildlife Refuge (http://bit.ly/2gyS0Ge) in Texas is almost complete. Whooping cranes are one of the most highly endangered and intensively monitored bird species in North America. The only remaining wild, self-sustaining population breeds in and around Wood Buffalo National Park in northern Canada and winters at Aransas Refuge. Video: http://bit.ly/2fSmuUn Photo by Steve Sykes
