Bowhead Whales

While most whales head to warmer waters for the winter, bowhead whales stay in icy Arctic and sub-Arctic waters all year round. With extra-thick blubber and a large skull used for smashing through ice, bowhead whales are perfectly suited for life in these cold climes.
