The Rare Bohemian Waxwing

Rare Bird Alert: Bohemian waxwings roam the Pacific Northwest in search of winter berries such as mountain ash and juniper. Their trademark carefree wandering ways have taken them most recently to Wasco County in northeast Oregon. Have you seen these brownish gray songbirds hovering at feeders and trees, gulping down fruits whole?
