F1 East Transect – 2012

Permanent Site: F1 East Transect; Depth: 6.2 Meters (20.4 Feet); Distance from river mouth: 1.3 Kilometers (0.8 Miles) east; Pre/Post Dam Removal: 10 months post-dam removal; Lat/Long: 48.15292999, -123.55011402; Site Description: This is a shallow site with gravel/cobble substrate. Algae is almost all gone except for the perennial seaweed Pterygophora californica (0:320:561:21 seconds) whose stalks remains but the fronds are either absent or tattered. Invertebrate seen on video: blood sea star Henricia leviuscula leviuscula (0:401:21 seconds).
