Prairie dogs are social animals, living in large underground networks called “towns.” When they spot something alarming, they give warning with short barks. Because of a drastic decline in the 20th century, wildlife managers are making repopulation attempts at places like Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in #Oklahoma, seen here.
