Flights south now leaving daily. An American black duck at Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, NJ, has gotten the word. The duck, which often hangs out with look-alike mallards, is recognizable by its blue speculum, or colored wing patch. Photo: Don Freiday/USFWS
