Northern Harrier Harassing an Owl

From USFWS National Wildlife Refuge System:

You can get snap some action-packed photos on national wildlife refuge – as did Adam Berry when he spotted this northern harrier harassing an owl at Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, NJ. Northern harriers have a broad distribution across North America. They fly low over the ground when hunting. In winter they move south, away from areas that get heavy snow. Tag your photos #MyWildlifeRefugeduring Refuge Week, which runs through October 17. Many refuges have Refuge Week activities well into in October.
