Sandhill Cranes on the Move

From USFWS National Wildlife Refuge System:

Sandhill cranes are on the move. You might still see some at Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, MN, where visitors days ago counted about 3,800. But the coming cold will persuade them to move. The crimson-capped beauties breed in open wetlands, fields and prairies across North America. Photo by Sea Angels
