From U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service:
Spectacular photo of a dragonfly from the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge in Utah! And we hope you are having a spectacular weekend.
The refuge lies in northern Utah, where the Bear River flows into the northeast arm of the Great Salt Lake. This area provides critical habitat for migrating birds from both the Pacific and Central Flyway of North America. Birds come by the millions to eat and restduring migration.
The refuge boasts many other types and species of wildlife other than birds. The grassland and wetland habitats support a wide array of insects like dragonflies, damselflies and butterflies. Mule deer, red fox, leopard frogs, channel catfish and numerous other species also call the refuge home:http://1.usa.gov/104V2Xq.
