Saving the Chestnuts

From the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Headquarters:

Volunteers from the American Chestnut Foundation along with USACE, Bernheim Forest, and Kentucky Division of Forestry dig American chestnut sprouts on Fort Knox. These sprouts will be moved to the new germplasm conservation orchard at Green River Lake - US Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District. Read more about the project here: http://ow.ly/IT19f
