NEWS MEDIA ADVISORY

(Kansas City, Kan., Sep. 24, 2012) - EPA Region 7 will host a special ceremony at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, marking the community transformation of Treece, Kan.

The event will acknowledge the efforts of the local, state and federal partners involved in the Treece Relocation Assistance Project. It will highlight the history of the area and the hopes for the future of the Treece site and its former and current residents.
