The Creole Pearly-eye (Enodia creole) Butterfly

From Congaree National Park:

One of the rarer butterflies that one might find at #Congaree, the Creole Pearly-eye (Enodia creole) can be found in the canebrakes of southern bottomland forests, where they feed and lay their eggs. The loss of habitat could put this #butterfly at risk of extinction, as canebrakes like those found in the park are becoming less and less prevalent.
