Song Sparrow

From Great River and Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuges:




One of the most familiar Northern Amercian sparrows, the Song Sparrow, was spotted this week on the refuge. It's one of the first species you should suspect if you see a streaky sparrow in an open, shrubby, or wet area.
