Wild Turkeys Below Clinton Lake Dam, Kansas

These wild turkeys were seen below the USACE Clinton Lake dam this week feeding in the snow. Wild turkeys were reintroduced into Kansas in the 1960s. The reintroduction program has been hugely successful, and turkeys are now a common sight in Eastern Kansas.
