In response to community requests, the TASC
program has created a fact sheet about EPA's recent ROD Amendment for
the Upper Coeur d'Alene Basin. Below is a forwarded message from the TASC
program about this new resource. We are pleased to share this resource with
you.

Hello Community Members,
I'm writing to let you know that a new community resource is available. The Technical Assistance for Communities (TASC) Program created a fact sheet on the EPA Record of Decision Amendment (RODA) for the Coeur d'Alene Basin Superfund site. The fact sheet is four pages long, written in plain language and includes several graphics. The purpose of the fact sheet is to provide a brief overview of the RODA and resources for readers who are interested in learning more. The fact sheet is available on our website. Copies will be available at local document repositories.
When we met with community members in the Spring of 2012 during our Technical Assistance Needs Assessment we heard from many people that highly technical agency documents can be hard to understand. Community members specifically requested assistance with materials like the RODA. The RODA is a public document that explains EPA changes to previous cleanup decisions. We hope this fact sheet is helpful and aids in your understanding and involvement with the cleanup.
If you have any questions or would like to be removed from this email list, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Sincerely,
Alison Frost
