Young Eagles Learning to Fly

From J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge (Official):

NATURE NEWS by sightings volunteer Ed Combs: You may remember, or want to go back to see, the NATURE NEWS from February 10 showing an Eagle nest with two half grown youngsters. Today's photo by Karl Werner shows the status of the same young Eagles now -- one month later. The young birds are in the process of learning how to fly and will very soon leave the nest. They will grow into their white heads and tails, large yellow bills, heavy bodies, and broad wings in four to five years. The Bald Eagle serves as our country's national symbol and is found over most of North America.
