Black Bear Cubs | Feb 2, 2017

From Necedah National Wildlife Refuge:




Did you know black bears give birth in their winter dens between late December and early February? The cubs are born blind and without much fur, but the mother's warmth and rich milk helps them grow and develop quickly. They will leave the den with her in late March.
