EPA and U.S. Rep. Paul Tonko Announce Funding to UAlbany from President Biden’s Investing in America Agenda

ALBANY, N.Y. (Feb. 22, 2024) – On Monday, Feb. 26, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Representative Paul Tonko will join dignitaries and community members to announce an American Rescue Plan and Inflation Reduction Act investment to the University at Albany for community air quality monitoring. Learn how two projects aim to improve air quality and public health across underserved and disproportionately burdened communities in New York’s Capital District and in other areas of New York.

What:

Press conference to announce EPA funding award to the University at Albany, followed by a demonstration of low-cost air monitoring sensors and a mobile air monitoring van.

When:

Monday, Feb. 26 at 10:00 a.m.
