From the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Southwest Region:
The Uvalde National Fish Hatchery near Uvalde, Texas, is a favorite stop for birds and birders alike. The fall migration occurred a little late this year but the hatchery saw a variety of wildfowl pass through. Species included Green-wing teal, cinnamon teal, American coot, northern pintails, mallards, gadwalls, widgeon, northern shovelers and a spattering of mottled ducks. Sandhill cranes continue to arrive as do the predatory double crested cormorants. Blue-wing teal arrived first and many remain on the hatchery.
