The Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee approved the first three bills in a package of legislation by committee chair Senator Fran Pavley (D-Agoura Hills) to modernize California’s water system.
“The current drought will not be our last, and we need new approaches to ensure a more secure water future for California,” Senator Pavley said. “This legislation will help increase regional self-sufficiency and promote the more prudent use of limited water resources.”
