Julia Hansen Butler Refuge for the Columbia White-tailed Deer

From USFWS National Wildlife Refuge System:

In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, we introduce you to Julia Hansen Butler Refuge for the Columbia White-tailed Deer in Washington. It’s one of four national wildlife refuges named for women. The Columbia white-tailed deer was one of the nation’s first species listed as “endangered.” After decades of habitat restoration and translocation, the deer’s status has improved to “threatened.” Learn more about the deer and the refuge: http://bit.ly/2mPgs63
