Leading into the busy “twin ports” on Lake Superior is a river in between Minnesota and Wisconsin. NOAA chose the St. Louis River Estuary as a Habitat Focus Area (http://bit.ly/2nBEiTj) because of its historic pollution and great potential to provide clean habitat. Partners are pulling together, from the local to federal levels, to clean up the water and restore the watershed.
