From Florida Keys National Wildlife Refuges Complex:
This young buck is the third of several Key deer that were treated for screwworm infestation by a cadre of veterinarians and biologists. Hence, he was affectionately dubbed "Tres" (three in Spanish) by local citizens. This deer was treated on Oct. 25 on Munson Key. He responded well to treatment and is healthy now--as seen in this picture, which was taken on Jan. 8.
