From Florida Keys National Wildlife Refuges Complex:
Tomorrow morning (Sat. Feb. 11) we start a series of guided nature walks out at the Nature Trails (Watson and Mannillo trails) public use area. We'll meet at the Key Deer Refuge Visitor Center at 9:00 and drive out to the parking area. Feel free to meet us out there at 9:10. The walk will be a casual stroll through the pine rockland, freshwater wetlands and hardwook hammock habitats. You'll be infused with fresh air and interesting history and facts in your journey. Family-friendly, free and locals and visitors welcome. For more information email Kristie at Kristie_Killam@fws.gov
