Get to Know Your Native: Rio Grande Cutthroat Trout. When it comes to protecting our native trout our work with T&E species is important. Working to protect them from that status is also important. The Western Native Trout Initiative outreach grant for the Rio Grande Cutthroat Trout has funded 6 signs to be posted in Colorado and New Mexico and posters. These materials promote responsible angling as well as educational information on the trout.
