Short-eared Owl

From Two Rivers National Wildlife Refuge:

Short-eared owls eat small mammals and birds, including mice, voles, rabbits, bats, muskrats, songbirds, and shorebirds. These raptors hunt in daylight, especially in the early morning and evening.
