The Park greenhouse planted bear poop, and look what has sprung to life! There have been ~1200 seedlings of both Oregon-grape and Chokecherry that have sprouted from the scat. Animals are great seed disperses and of course what comes in one way goes out the other. After defecation, seeds are left in a rich, moist medium that nourishes the growing seedling.
