Saturday at the Salt Ponds: Herons, egrets and ibis often congregate together at shallow inland wetlands in National Key Deer Refuge. You'll even see them following each other in hopes that someone will scare up a fish or shrimp that the other can quickly grab with their beak. Sometimes there are arguments, but often there is plenty for everyone.
