EPA and Congressmembers to Present the Houston Health Department with Grant Funds
(DALLAS, TEXAS – July 10th, 2023) On Monday, officials from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Houston Health Department and U.S. Congressmembers will gather at the Houston Botanic Garden to announce EPA’s nearly $500,000 grant to the Houston Health Department for air monitoring in environmental justice communities. The grant is funded through the Inflation Reduction Act, part of President Bidens’ Investing in America agenda.
