Coyote Leaping after a Meadow Vole

From the USFWS National Wildlife Refuge System:

At Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge in Wyoming, a coyote leaps after a meadow vole … and misses. Coyotes use their strong senses of sight, smell and hearing to hunt mice, voles, squirrels, hares and birds. They will also eat amphibians and snakes. Look for coyotes along forest edges, in grasslands and fields. Photo: Tom Koerner/USFWS
