Good news for manatees! Decades of conservation efforts have improved their habitat and helped populations rebound. Today, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Service moved these gentle giants from an endangered to a threatened species. Existing protections will remain in place to allow these beloved animals to stay on the road to recovery.
